Step 1
Click on the Download link located at the top right of the menu bar located at the top of this screen.
You will be navigated to the Microsoft Visual Studio Marketplace page dedicated to xAI. (It will open in a new tab.)
Just click on the Green download button located on that page and the xAI .vsix file will be downloaded to your system.
(In chrome, it will show up on the bottom left of your browser screen).
Step 2
Double click on the link to begin the installation process and follow the prompts. (You will need to have Visual Studio 2019 or 2022 installed on your system. All versions work with xAI, including the free Community Versions).
Step 3
To open the xAI extension in Visual Studio, follow the instructions on the video, located to the right of these instructions on this page.
Step 4
xAI has a free trial. As a paid product, you must register and supply a bank issued credit card for your trial. (Debit/Prepaid cards are not accepted). If you cancel before the trial period ends, no charge will be made. To register, click on your desired plan and term on the pricing page (Link above on Top Menu). Upon your payment method being accepted, you will be supplied a password. You enter your email and password on the Login Tab on the xAI window running in Visual Studio. To reigter directly from within the xAI extension, you can register by clicking on the registration link on the xAI Login tab. That will also navigate you to the registration page.
